There are many activities and groups that provide helping hands to members and local non-members.
Join in, ask for assistance, get involved!
When a member or family of the congregation is in need, they may contact the church office (626-8515) and ask for some assistance with meals. The Moravian Morsels' dedicated crew will prepare and deliver meals up to 3 times a week. Each delivery is large enough for 2 days of meals. Dietary restrictions are welcome. There is no charge for this service. Audrey Balmer is the coordinator of this important ministry.
A devoted group will gather to provide a delicious luncheon following a funeral or memorial service at Lititz Moravian, if asked to do so. Expenses for the luncheon are expected to be reimbursed. Audrey Balmer is the coordinator of this important ministry.
Volunteers assist in transporting members from Moravian Manor to church on Sunday mornings. Contact the church office (626-8515) to request a driver. Or contact the office if you are willing to become a driver.
This vital outreach mission of our congregation allows parents to attend the weekly Wednesday evening NA meeting uninterrupted and provides the peace of mind that their child is being supervised by safe, caring adults. Leave a message at the office (626-8515) for Karen Erb.
The Lititz Project is a hometown mission project involving several churches in the Lititz area including Lititz Moravian. Helping neighbors with minor home improvements, clean-ups, etc., in the name of the Lord is the overall concept. Teams of volunteers paint, power wash, mulch, trim, repair, build, etc., to spread the message of love thy neighbor. Over the past years, LMC volunteers have completed between 6 & 10 projects per year. Sign-ups begin in February and projects are usually completed in June.
